We had previously helped these clients redo their main floor, and then they recently asked us to help update the lower level.  This is the more casual, hangout area of the home, perfect for playing the Wii, watching a movie together, or having a game night. So many great hosting components to this space, with a kitchen and guest room for when their kids and grandkids come to stay.  

When choosing the layout of the room, we decided to move the TV to the longest wall as the focal. We chose an extra long cosole table under the TV that we LOVE, and played off of those colors to bring dark contrasts throughout the room. We sourced a sectional to give ample seating.  A couple of recliner chairs were added, along with a soft rug to add texture and pattern.  Over in the dining space, we switched out the table and chairs, to a round table with comfy dining chairs, perfect for game night or family dinners.
