Home Update l Morton, IL

This room make over is extra special to us because we know these sweet clients personally:) Their home was beautiful before, but they had changed from the warm color tones on the wall, to greys and they were ready to swap out furniture and decor to compliment the cooler tones. It worked really well because they were able to move their current furniture and accessories to their basement to furnish that.

It was so fun to have a blank canvas to work with. These clients knew they wanted new upholstered furniture, a touch of leather, and some pops of color! I absolutely love how the blue chairs are color, but in a neutral kind of way (if that makes sense?!) And that rug!! It just pulls it all together and adds color in a subtle way.

I think if I had to pick, my favorite element of the room, are the large bookcases we added to either side of the fireplace. I think they just really made a grand statement and really filled in that wall space well. But an added bonus that they are also functional with great storage.
