We love the transformation that took place in this front room of a farm house in rural Illinois. This client contacted us wanting to update a room that was front and center when you walk in their home, but this space was not utilized a lot. Our goal was to create an oasis that was inviting and cozy, and become more of a functioning and welcoming place to gather in. We encouraged them to paint their brick to really lighten the space. They chose a grey/white look to update the fireplace as well as a new mantel piece that the husband hand made:). We then chose a Rowe sectional along with 2 chairs to help fill in the middle space in the room, allow for more seating, and still be able to use the room as a walk through to the kitchen. When we came back to deliver all the furniture pieces and finish the design with accessories, the room was cleaned out and was a clean slate to work with! (Only thing missing in the pics...the mirrors we had on order for above the cabinets flanking the fireplace were not in yet;)
